Bisnis.com, JAKARTA – Indonesia’s taxi industry has entered a fresh phase of competition following the aggressive expansion of Vietnamese electric taxi operator Green SM in the domestic market. The company officially launched in Indonesia at the end of 2024, after establishing operations in Vietnam and Laos.
Through its Green & Smart Mobility (GSM) arm, Vietnamese billionaire Pham Nhat Vuong is targeting 10,000 electric taxis on Indonesian roads by the end of 2025.
